BMT to go

Un dia "tranqui" empezaron desde ayer a dar quimio endovenosa. Un poquito de nausea pero nada que un poco de Compasin no pudo solucionar. Don Ignacio y Doña Arlene estan de visita en Seattle y se quedan hasta el 5 de Abril. La enfermera Anne "Fabulous" (la enfermera no le da el apellido a los pacientes para que no le pase como a una colega que le calló un paciente "stalker"es la enfermera de Virginia en durante el dia. Virginia estaba distraida (para variar) cuando le estaban poniendo una medicina (Decadron) por el catéter que pica. Cuando sintio el picor brinco y se puso en cuatro en la cama meciendose pra adelante y para detras. La Fabulous se moria de la risa y Virginia tambien. Dijo que nunca habia tenido un paciente que le hiciera eso. Se acabo la quimio endovenosa (Citoxin). Ana se pasó el dia en el hospital y en la tarde se fue a hacerle un "smoothie" a Virginia y a bañarse y cambiarse.
Pitinglish- A "relax"day today. Endovenous chemo started yesterday and ended today. Virginia had a little bit of nausea today but was well controlled with Compasin. Don Ignacio and Doña Arlene are visiting from today until the 5th of April. Anne Faboulous is the head nurse of Virginia and had a funny episode today with Virginia after she put a medication that burns when injected and Virginia did not pay attention to the warning. When she felt the burn she jumped in bed and rocked back and forth on all fours. The nurse and Virginia cracked up and she stated taht she had never seen a patient do this in all her years as a nurse. This is way more funny in Spanish.
